Description

System / Relational Presence investigates the unstable relationship between presence, perception, and meaning. A central human figure appears immediately tangible, yet her presence is continuously challenged by the energetic, geometric, symbolic, and spatial structures surrounding her. She is simultaneously present and psychologically displaced—emerging, receding, and reappearing as the observer reorganizes the visual field.

The painting operates as an experimental construction rather than a closed representation. Figurative elements, mathematical vectors, chromatic fields, fragmented structures, gestural interventions, and signs coexist within a dense relational environment. No single element provides a definitive interpretive centre. Instead, meaning emerges through the changing relations established between the work and its observer.

The composition moves between apparent order and instability, brightness and darkness, proximity and distance, tangible form and perceptual uncertainty. These oppositions are not presented as contradictions to be resolved but as interdependent conditions within an evolving system. The work therefore activates perception as a continuous process: what appears dominant at one moment may become peripheral at another, while previously unnoticed structures acquire new significance.

System / Relational Presence proposes the artwork as a field of encounter in which perception, relation, cognition, and change continually reorganize one another. 

The physical painting remains materially present, but the experienced artwork is never entirely fixed. Meaning is not transmitted as a predetermined message; it emerges through the structural and semiotic relations continually activated between image and observer.
